Sheboygan County election results: Roberta Filicky-Peneski unseated

SHEBOYGAN — Voters across Sheboygan County cast their vote Tuesday for the spring election, choosing to unseat multiple incumbents throughout the region, including Sheboygan Common Council District 2 alderperson Roberta Filicky-Peneski.

Other incumbents defeated at the polls included Pat Schmidt for Sheboygan Town Board, both incumbents running for Howards Grove School Board and Bob Schilsky for Plymouth Common Council.

In addition to voting for local seats, residents voted on whether two additions should be made to the state constitution in a referendum vote. Question 1 on the ballot pertained to banning private funding of elections and question 2 asked about adding that “only election officials designated by law” can administer elections.
